Nguyên nhân khiến bạn không nói được tiếng Anh giống người bản xứ

 

- Nguyên nhân phần lớn (mà ai cũng biết) là bạn phát âm tiếng Anh chưa chuẩn và không hề giống người Mỹ nên họ chẳng thể nào hiểu.

 

- Nguyên nhân thứ hai cũng không kém phần quan trọng đó là bạn đã áp dụng những gì đã học không đúng cách sử dụng tiếng Anh thông thường của người bản xứ.

 

 

Điều này thật sự rất ít được học trong sách vở vì sách vở thường dạy điều đúng và chuẩn mực trong ngôn ngữ của họ. Trong khi người sử dụng thường nói ngắn gọn, biến tấu làm sao cho dễ hiểu (theo cách của họ) nên sẽ gây khó hiểu (theo cách của bạn) và không ít khó khăn cho bạn khi giao tiếp với người bản xứ.

 

 

Để hiểu được những sự khác biệt này, bạn có thể tự học bằng cách tìm cơ hội giao tiếp nhiều với người bản xứ và rút kinh nghiệm từ những cuộc nói chuyện đó.

 

 

Những lỗi nói tiếng Anh cần lưu ý khi giao tiếp với người Mỹ

Dưới đây là một số lỗi mà người học tiếng Anh dễ mắc phải mà các bạn nên ghi nhớ khi giao tiếp với người bản xứ, đặc biệt là người Mỹ.

- A learner's style: Susan didn't make a fault anyway.

American Style: Susan didn't make a mistake anyway.

- A learner's style: He becomes better.

American Style: He got better.

- A learner's style: We'll have a hearing test tomorrow.

American Style: We'll have a listening test tomorrow.

- A learner's style: I recommend you to take a long vacation.

Cách nói tiếng Anh như người Mỹ thực thụ

Ở Việt Nam, chúng ta được học là "Did you attend college?" nhưng người bản xứ tại Mỹ sẽ nói "Did you go to college ?"

- A learner's style: It was still bright outside.

American Style: It was still light outside / There was still light outside.

- A learner's style: Come to here.

American Style: Come here.

- A learner's style: Common students in US don't wear a uniform.

American Style: The average students in US don't wear a uniform.

- A learner's style: Who cooked this salad ?

American Style: Who made this salad ?

- A learner's style: Different from me, she is proficient in English.
